Thank you, Mr. Chairman. I want to thank the panel for your testimony. Very important pieces of legislation that we are discussing today. All have earned bipartisan support for obvious reasons, given what you have been telling us and, I think, given the statements of our colleagues here on both sides of the aisle.

This bill takes important steps to support the ongoing restoration of the Chesapeake Bay by reauthorizing NOAA's Chesapeake Bay Office and authorizing the agency's long-running Bay Watershed Education and Training, or B-WET Grant program.
The goal was not to federalize elections across the country; the goal was to set some uniform standards.
Without the strong and continued investment the EPA has requested for the Chesapeake Bay Program in fiscal year 2024, the risk is we could jeopardize decades of work in collaboration towards the Bay's restoration.
They want to be on the field of their democracy. They want to feel like they have some power within their own democracy.
