I also understand there was an effort to clear the path for generic drugs to become available. Of course, generic drugs sell at a lesser cost than brand name drugs. A lot of the pharmaceutical people are opposed to that. It is also my understanding that this bill fails to carry through on the efforts to make it easy to bring generic drugs to market. Am I correct in that respect?
