Amidst an alarming increase in antisemitism, Islamophobia and other forms of toxic hate, Team Maryland is surging more than $8.6 million in federal Nonprofit Security Grants to protect our people.

We need to zero in quickly on the forms of systemic corruption that have cost the public huge amounts of money, and where there are legislative cures available.

But stealing taxpayer dollars to pay for Mr. Trump’s narcissistic ego trips is plainly illegal.

This is a naked power grab by a historically unpopular president—who himself regularly votes by mail—to inject confusion and chaos into our elections in a last-ditch effort to keep his party in power.
