I want to thank Mr. Chabot for his excellent work on this legislation, and I want to thank Mr. Collins for his thoughtful intervention. Mr. Speaker, this bill was advanced to allow the Foundation of the Federal Bar Association the flexibility it needs to successfully manage its own affairs, as Mr. Chabot pointed out. I urge its passage, and I yield back the balance of my time. The SPEAKER pro tempore. The question is on the motion offered by the gentleman from Maryland (Mr. Raskin) that the House suspend the rules and pass the bill, H.R. 1663. The question was taken; and (two-thirds being in the affirmative) the rules were suspended and the bill was passed. A motion to reconsider was laid on the table. ____________________
