President Trump is obviously desperate for the American people to ‘love’ him.

We need to zero in quickly on the forms of systemic corruption that have cost the public huge amounts of money, and where there are legislative cures available.

But stealing taxpayer dollars to pay for Mr. Trump’s narcissistic ego trips is plainly illegal.

It is blatantly unethical under numerous federal ethics provisions proscribing the use of government resources for political campaigns.
