Mr. Speaker, I am delighted to be here this evening on behalf of the Progressive Caucus in Congress, which is in very strong opposition to both the House and Senate versions of the tax scam that is speeding through the United States Congress this week. We have several members who would like to participate in this. Mr. Speaker, I yield to the gentleman from Rhode Island (Mr. Cicilline). He is a passionate representative of the people of Rhode Island and a real champion of the American middle class.
