Madam Chair, as the designee of the gentleman from Virginia (Mr. Beyer), I offer amendment No. 1. The Acting CHAIR. The Clerk will designate the amendment. The text of the amendment is as follows: Page 5, line 16, insert after ``reviews.'' the following: ``During the two-year period prior to the inclusion of an individual on a list of candidates under this subparagraph, the individual may not have been a registered lobbyist under the Lobbying Disclosure Act of 1995 (2 U.S.C. 1601 et seq.).''. Page 6, after line 6, insert the following new paragraph: (4) Financial disclosure reports of members.--Each member of the Commission shall file the financial disclosure reports required under title I of the Ethics in Government Act of 1978 (5 U.S.C. App.) in accordance with the requirements of such title. The Acting CHAIR. Pursuant to House Resolution 150, the gentleman from Maryland (Mr. Cummings) and a Member opposed each will control 5 minutes. The Chair recognizes the gentleman from Maryland.
