Iraq has the second largest oil reserves in the world, with 112 billion barrels of proven oil reserves and another probable 220 billion barrels. In the current world rate, the value of proven Iraqi reserves would be about $2.8 trillion together with another $5.5 trillion in probable oil reserves.
