I sit on the board of Morgan State University, and every year now as it is right now, we have to let go some 600 to 700 students every year. Why, because they do not have enough money to go to school. It is so sad with the Pell grant cut situation; it is going to make it even worse. The reason why we are so concerned is because life has to go forth while we are also dealing with a war, and we also understand that a lot of these young people that I just talked about... may never get back in college, and their earning power is thus reduced. They cannot do for their families as well as they could have done if they had gotten the education, and it is so very painful to so many people.
