“It is so important that we do everything in our power to support our Federal employees, and I want to thank Mr. Connolly and Mr. Hoyer. They have come to the job with passion, compassion, and the desire to make things better, and they are the ones who have determined that they want to put their fingerprints on the future of generations yet unborn. Then there are the others, like the TSA workers--you know the ones-- earning $28,000 a year and coming to work, by the way, during the shutdown when they couldn't even afford the gas to get there.
