In closing, I just wanted to let the gentleman know that he mentioned that there had been an increase in Federal employees. There have been increases in DOD, DHS, and VA, but all the other agencies over the 10 years have been decreasing. With that, Mr. Speaker, I would urge passage of this legislation, and I yield back the balance of my time.

In April of this year you gave an interview with Lester Holt at NBC. You claimed that the children you separated were, and I quote, 'always intended to be reunited.'
And I don't give a damn how you look at it; there are efforts to stop people from voting. That is not right. This is not Russia. This is the United States of America.
What I'm saying is I want to concentrate on these children, and I want to make sure that they are okay.
