Our bill now enables companies and the government to have the option to hire independent contractors to handle cyber threat information. It helps bring talented people into our cybersecurity workforce; it provides jobs; it is good for our economy; and it is good for our national security. Therefore, I urge a ``yes'' vote on this amendment. I also want to acknowledge Congressman Schneider for his involvement in this issue.
