I would say in conclusion that while there may not be direct oversight authority as we move forward with looking at the expenditure in the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, Congress always has broad authority to look at the way taxpayer dollars are spent.

I`m concerned about any senator, any Democratic senator who would put on the line to possibly tank the President`s agenda because that effectively takes Democrats out of the running for the majority in the House and in the Senate.
I'm not confident in any of that. And especially in the polling, I mean, we've seen that it's been problematic in the past.
