I appreciate the Chairman and the Ranking Member calling this hearing because I would like us to be more invested as a committee and a Congress and really to help do what Dr. Magnus described, which is set of vision, a strategy, something that all of us as Americans can really embrace about our space program.
Edwards emphasizes the need for a unified vision in the space program.

I`m concerned about any senator, any Democratic senator who would put on the line to possibly tank the President`s agenda because that effectively takes Democrats out of the running for the majority in the House and in the Senate.
