I have an amendment at the desk. The Acting CHAIR. The Clerk will designate the amendment. The text of the amendment is as follows: Insert after section 2(e) the following (and redesignate subsequent subsections accordingly): (f) Secret Service Employees.--For calendar year 2019, the rate of basic pay of any employee of the United States Secret Service provided under chapter 102 of title 5, United States Code, who did not receive a pay increase by operation of subsections (a) through (e) shall be increased by 2.6 percent. The Acting CHAIR. Pursuant to House Resolution 87, the gentleman from Maryland (Mr. Trone) and a Member opposed each will control 5 minutes. The Chair recognizes the gentleman from Maryland.
