I must say, I am so pleased to see this bill come back under suspension because, as was mentioned, this will be the fourth time around. Twice during the 104th Congress did we pass it in this House and last year in the 105th Congress, and now as we are in our waning days of the 105th Congress, it has come back from the Senate slightly changed but one that will indeed enhance veterans employment opportunities, something that is quite needed. Basically what it does is it simply, I guess I would call it a bill that enhances and enforces employment opportunities for veterans. It does not do anything about special, I will not say efforts but special privileges for them, but it gives them what they deserve, to make sure that they are getting equal access, a kind of a fair, level playing field and fairness in employment.
