Chris Van Hollen: “The Republican budget would actually undermine those important investments.”

The good news – I wish that list was longer … we have been able to put together a fiscal year 2026 budget. That is a low bar, but in these divided times, it was important.

This is not leadership—this is sabotage of public health. And it must end, immediately.

This is an important step forward for the rule of law.

The agency’s actions over the last year are an outrageous abuse of administrative power that will leave Americans sicker, poorer, and dying from preventable causes.
