This is an opportunity for this Congress to finally take responsibility.

If a member of the Senate truly believes that this war is justified and the right thing to do, put it up for a vote.

The good news – I wish that list was longer … we have been able to put together a fiscal year 2026 budget. That is a low bar, but in these divided times, it was important.

At the end of the day, that has to happen. We have a system of laws, we need to enforce them.
