Chris Van Hollen: “The Constitution is unambiguous. This is not a close call.”

While today’s hearing did not proceed, the Trump Administration continues to desperately try and ship Kilmar Ábrego Garcia to a faraway country and deny him of his constitutional due process rights.

Americans deserve real solutions.

This should chill every American to the bone. When the rights of one are threatened, the rights of all are at risk.

We must not forget that a federal judge has already made clear what we have long known: the Trump Administration’s Department of Justice is engaged in a vindictive prosecution against Kilmar.
