Once again, the President had a plan to reduce the deficit by about $4 trillion over 10 years--$3 in cuts, $1 in revenue. Our Republican colleagues walked away from the table because they didn't want $1 of deficit reduction from closing special interest tax loopholes. With that, I yield 3\1/4\ minutes to the distinguished member of the Judiciary Committee, the gentleman from New York (Mr. Nadler).
