Last night’s ruling from a federal judge made plain: the Administration’s efforts are in clear violation of Congressional intent.

We ask that you pause any use of the SMART tool until we can better understand your decision-making, rollout process, and evaluation plan.

We must not forget that a federal judge has already made clear what we have long known: the Trump Administration’s Department of Justice is engaged in a vindictive prosecution against Kilmar.

We must hold them to this standard and hold a hearing to determine what the Department knows, as well as request the original report written by embassy staff on the status about these killings.
