If we want to avoid making the debt even worse and you are going to add $1.5 trillion to debt, the only way to deal with that is to then cut things like Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid.

At least for now, I don’t see the votes. Based on my reading of the end of the meeting, I don’t see the votes there right now for passing the House Republican bill.
