This is a cynical and reckless statement he made today because, you know, when Republicans were in charged back in 2016 with President Trump, they, of course, cut taxes for the rich, they increase the deficits and debt by $2 trillion but then they proceeded to raise the debt ceiling when President Trump asked them to.
