I certainly regret that an objection has been made, but let me at least correct the record. PPP money, Paycheck Protection money, does not go to healthcare services. It goes to personnel costs. It goes to related expenses. It does not go to healthcare services. The law that we pass is the law that the administration implemented. There were no restrictions referenced to what Senator Paul is referring to included in the Paycheck Protection Program. The restrictions on a nonprofit dealt with affiliation rules. So I just want to put on the record that the response by Senator Paul is not the factual circumstances that we are dealing with. We are dealing with a qualified person who should be confirmed by this body, and the administration is carrying out the will of Congress in the way that it has implemented the Paycheck Protection Program.…
