“Mr. President, I wish to go back to the SBIR bill itself and compliment Senator Landrieu, the chairman, and Senator Snowe, the ranking Republican member. This bill is an important one. I think it is important we get back to it and that we deal with amendments relevant to this legislation and move it forward. We have been on this bill for a period of time. It is time to move on. I urge my colleagues, let's take up the amendments that are relevant to the legislation and move it forward. It provides predictability so if you are going to go into a business, you know the program is going to be here to give the permanency of reauthorization.
