That in and of itself has a major impact on our economy. That is 4,000 Americans who are no longer receiving a paycheck. It affects people who work for the FAA in such fields as safety engineers, computer scientists, aeronautics engineers, physical scientists--the list goes on and on-- jeopardizing the progress we have made in keeping our airways safe and jeopardizing the convenience to those who travel by air.…”
