Mr. President, I ask unanimous consent that when the Senate completes its business today, it adjourn to then convene for pro forma session only, with no business being conducted, at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, July 14, 2023; further, that when the Senate adjourns on Friday, July 14, it stand adjourned until 3 p.m. on Tuesday, July 18; that on Tuesday, following the prayer and pledge, the Journal of proceedings be approved to date, the morning hour be deemed expired, the time for the two leaders be reserved for their use later in the day, and morning business be closed; that following the conclusion of morning business, the Senate proceed to executive session to resume consideration of the Bloomekatz nomination, postcloture; further, that all postcloture time be considered expired at 5:30 p.m. and that, if the nomination is confirmed, the motion to reconsider be considered made and laid upon the table and the President be immediately notified of the Senate's action.
