These hearings have men and women across the country talking and thinking about sexual harassment. That is important. The Nation is going through a very important teach-in on sexual harassment. But I am afraid the Senate is about to flunk the course. I am very concerned that the victim who had the courage to stand up and say, 'No, this is not right,' has been treated as if she were the villain. This is where the process has failed and I am quite angry and disappointed about it. If you talk to the victims of abuse the way I have, they will tell you they are often doubly victimized.
