Mr. President, I wish to yield time to the Senator from North Carolina, Mrs. Hagan. Senator Hagan is a freshman Senator, but she is certainly not new to this issue. Both in North Carolina's legislative body and in the Senate her work has always been for the economic empowerment of women, especially those women who stand every day and do those jobs requiring standing on their feet and at the end of the day have earned less pay and will get less in their pensions. As they stand for work, she stands for them on the Senate floor. I yield Senator Hagan 5 minutes. The PRESIDING OFFICER. The Senator from North Carolina.
