As we have heard before, the focus of this discussion draft is protecting consumers and protecting taxpayers.
There has never been a bill I have ever voted for or against that I didn't like or hate something in it.

I can't imagine taking that $1,000 and turning it into $2,000 a month.
My average constituents are not interested in that. They just want to know if they can get a mortgage and their kids can.
