I don't remember being taught by any of the Jesuits it was OK to separate parents from children.
Unfortunately, H.R. 5037, seems to be aimed directly at the Martin Act, and by preempting these State laws, the bill would allow small-time fraud to run rampant.
But it is also worth noting that to the American people, it was Democrats under the sterling leadership of our Ranking Member, Ms. Maxine Waters, who has been fighting and been our protector on many of these issues.
