I get that. Then why don't we have a bill just to stop New York State from doing this and leave the other 49 to do it? Leave Alabama alone.
The bank is an example of the fact that the elites of this country believe in democracy for every country in the world except ours.
I am particularly opposed to this bill because in New York State, we have a powerful securities fraud law, called the Martin Act.
I think you have an obligation to take a look at it, since between September and now, especially when it impacts millions upon millions of women and African-Americans and Hispanics.
