Joseph P. Kennedy III is a Democratic politician from Massachusetts who served as a U.S. Representative for the 4th congressional district from 2013 to 2021. He is a member of the prominent Kennedy political family, being the grandson of Robert F. Kennedy and the great-nephew of President John F. Kennedy. During his time in Congress, Kennedy focused on issues such as healthcare, education, and economic opportunity, advocating for policies that aimed to support working families and address income inequality. He is known for his efforts to promote renewable energy and combat climate change.
I have a very hard time understanding how that there is not additional or a new authorization for the use of military force that is going to be necessary in terms of outlining what these efforts are going to be.
I have hard time seeing how at this point there is any impetus to have Assad go.
I think it is important to note that thus far the Administration has invested about $6 billion in support of developing carbon capture and other technologies to try to make coal more efficient and to reduce its environmental impacts.
The situation on the ground in Libya is very complex and very complicated, going to take a period of time.
I hesitate to believe that we here in the United States are going to appropriate the sufficient funding to do that.
What we can try to do to build up civil society there to erode support for Hamas in the long term as well.
I echo the sentiments from our colleagues, very much looking forward to any suggestions you might have about how we can crack down on the financing of Hamas and their sources of income.
I firmly believe we can have a vibrant economy and a safe and healthy environment.
