Beyond the horrific loss of life caused by this pandemic and the administration's failed response, the economic consequence of job losses, business closures, imminent evictions, will last for generations.

This is, in all likelihood, my last committee hearing as well. It has been an extraordinary honor and pleasure and privilege for me to join all of you on the best committee in Congress.

Clearly, the Federal Government has failed here multiple times over, and I would--I'm just curious.
