One billion people live in the predominantly Moslem nations, and the specter of two million secular Moslems, Western Moslems, unable to get fair and humane treatment by any standard has struck a blow at the very foundations of the major secular Muslim nations, and Moslem fundamentalism will multiply because of the Bosnian experience and what has happened in that country, and many of those countries are our allies, like Egypt, and Pakistan, and Turkey. The shame is that all of our protestations of the Holocaust of 50 years ago, or the Armenian genocide of 79 years ago, that it could not happen again, are simply--all of those protestations are hollow if we do not stop this one.
