It's a matter of mathematics and physics, not politics, not ideology. It is a response to the science.
There is no current proposal or plan that has been agreed to which would require us to do that.
COP 28 already requires a global stock take. That is a valuation of how the world is doing with respect to the promises ...
We are competing, but everybody has their own approach, which is one of the exciting things here.
