I would like to share with all my colleagues that the President of Vietnam, the very next day after the terrorist attack, sent this message to the United States: The government and people of Vietnam were shocked by the tragedy that happened on the morning of 11 September 2001. We would like to convey to the government and people of the United States, especially the victims' families, our profound condolences. Consistently, Vietnam protests against terrorist acts that bring deaths and sufferings to civilians.
