This highway has been built by the dedicated effort of the citizens of these two States.
But it is a fact that the imports of woolens and worsteds have gone up from about 15 to 22 or 23 percent.
We are proud to have them here also because they are a Scottish Regiment, and that green and misty country has sent hundreds and thousands of Scottish men and women to the United States and they have been among our finest citizens.
It is a pleasure for me to join the citizens of Delaware and Maryland in opening this new highway.
