As long as there are children denied a decent education, as long as there are old people who live out their lives without hope, as long as there are men and women who want to work and can't find a job, as long as there are 15 million American homes which in this country are substandard, as long as our rivers are polluted, as long as we waste our national resources, as long as the prestige and power of the United States is not moving forward, so long is there need for the Democratic Party, so long is there need for new leadership and so long are we going to make our decision.
