More from John Fitzgerald Kennedy
The United States, in fact all of us, love, I suppose, in a sense, lost causes, and on occasion the history of Scotland has been a lost cause.
But don't make it impossible for us to function by legislative restraints or inadequate appropriations.
And the American Bar Association has been very helpful in making the judgment, but I am sure they would agree that they are not infallible.
I congratulate you, the people of Delaware, the people of Maryland, and the people of the United States.
