Look, we can play by two different sets of rules in Congress, and that is when the Republicans are in the majority and they want to cut taxes by a couple trillion dollars, they say, debt doesn't matter. But when the Democrats are in the majority and we actually want to cancel out student loan debt and provide universal child care and universal pre-K for our kids, and we want to make a real investment in housing in this country, suddenly they get religion and say, no, you can't do that because you'll run up the debt.
