The nurses at Brigham and Women’s Hospital have demonstrated their willingness to continue negotiating with Mass General Brigham leadership to arrive at an agreement that works for nurses, patients, and our hospitals.

At the same time that it is refusing to invest in workers at its existing facilities in New England, the company is pouring money into its new ventures, including a casino in the United Arab Emirates.

It's supposed to be out there regulating the market, but it doesn't appear to be doing it and frankly, doesn't appear to have the people to do it.

Given the risks that increasingly capable frontier models pose to our national security and Americans’ public safety, the American people deserve strong guardrails set by their democratically elected officials, not a toothless framework…
