I have introduced legislation, the Targeting Environmental and Climate Recklessness Act, and it is just to reinforce the reality that all across these countries, brave climate defenders in Central and South America are risking their lives peacefully in order to ensure that these carbon-intensive industries and unsustainable business practices are wreaking havoc on local communities.
