Today the Senate Commerce Committee voted to advance the Kids Online Safety Act. As I have said in the past, I have concerns about how this legislation could be weaponized against LGBTQ+ young people. These concerns are especially heightened today when the Trump FTC is unlawfully and viciously targeting trans kids. I stand ready to continue working with the sponsors on this legislation to ensure it doesn't hurt our LGBTQ+ youth.
