I rise so that we can note this important moment, and that moment is that, although it is with great sadness for this Chamber and the members of the Massachusetts delegation, but I think great joy for his family, the gentleman from Massachusetts (Mr. Meehan) is about to cast his final vote as a Member of this Chamber, and I would like to give the gentleman the proper farewell that he deserves because he has served well and long in this institution.
