The role of security is a Government role; and so as we come away from this hearing, we understand our obligation, particularly being Members of the Homeland Security Committee, to do this, to protect our citizens, to make sure our commerce is clear and protect our economy and our jobs.
Keating stresses the government's responsibility in ensuring security and protecting the economy.
