I think Medicare is sacred to all of us here. I think the other side should be given credit that they do not want Medicare to go bankrupt, but their solution will not sell anymore. Their solution is either raise taxes some more or borrow some more money. Do not try to control the cost or the waste, fraud, and abuse, just raise taxes some more or borrow some more money. I was raised to believe that it was the job of parents in America to try to leave some patrimony to their children, to try to leave them a base, a foundation upon which to build their future. I was raised to believe that. I think most of us in this country were raised to believe that. But the most awful crime occurring in our country today, if all the other crimes were lumped together, they are misdemeanors compared to this great felony.
