Troy Carter: “I would like to acknowledge the Biden administration's efforts to end human trafficking and smuggling through the 2022…”

I will not vote for this resolution. While I stand firmly and without hesitation against all forms of violence, I cannot support language that requires us to praise a man who so often showed disdain and disrespect for others.

If the President wants to provide federal resources to the City, I will work with him to provide funding to recruit and better train police officers.

We’re going to do a lot and we’re going to be very busy.

It does bring in light the imbalance in our judicial system, as it relates to African Americans and people of color.
