We oppose the proposed Regulation for Federal Financial Assistance rule, which would concentrate political control over federal spending, undermine constitutionally protected rights, disrupt billions of dollars in existing awards, and increase the compliance burden on the organizations and governments that serve the public.

I will not vote for this resolution. While I stand firmly and without hesitation against all forms of violence, I cannot support language that requires us to praise a man who so often showed disdain and disrespect for others.
It does bring in light the imbalance in our judicial system, as it relates to African Americans and people of color.
