They want to spend $1.5 trillion, and they want to return hard-working taxpayer dollars to fund health care for illegal aliens.

So, I don’t think it’s a violation of core principles for people to have appropriate measures taken when they act like crazy people online.

That’s not the government censoring speech, that’s personal behavior and decorum, and you have a right to enforce that.

Look, in America, it’s a very important part of our tradition that we do not — this is a conservative principle and certainly an American principle — we do not censor and silence disfavored viewpoints.

For a couple [of] decades, we defended religious freedom and speech that some people deemed to be inappropriate.

It’s as if a dark shadow was cast over our country and certainly here, even on Capitol Hill, the leaders of the nation have been shaken.

I mean, our first responders do it every day. Our members of the military do it every day and political figures as well.

We will have to see. I have got to build consensus around all of it, but I think we will need a short-term funding measure, a clean C.R. that will allow more time to figure all this out.
